$5 Amazon Gift Card Winner!

I just want to thank everyone who liked my picture in the Kennedi's Closet Christmas Cuties contest! The winner had over 1,000 likes, so I I honestly didn't have a shot! lol BUT, Max's picture had 175 likes and I think that's pretty incredible. :o) So, as I mentioned, I used random.org to choose someone for a $5 amazon gift card as a thank you and a little as a little push to coax people into helping me out. :o) Random.org chose #13, so I counted down the likes to the 13th person and the winner is.... Tracy Williamson-Baerman! Congrats girl!! I will email you the gift card! Thank you again to everyone who voted! I felt the love. :o)

Letter from Santa!

Just got free letters from Santa for my boys. Go here to get yours! http://www.tracerscouponaffair.com/2011/12/hurry-free-letter-from-santa.html

If you follow all the steps, the voucher code you get for the santa site is actually for $20. I thought it was just for 10... so when you personalize your letter and add it to your cart, it will give you the option to add the nice list certificate, a build your own Santa workshop sticker set and a letter from rudolph... Anyway, I got the letter, certificate and stickers with 2 bucks and some change left over on my credit. It covers shipping and everything!
My kids aren't old enough to get overly excited about getting a letter from Santa, but it will be fun to put it in their scrapbooks, or show them when they're older.
I'm sure some of you have kids who would freak out! Definitely take advantage of this!

Coke Cake

Okay, so if you're like me, one of your favorite things this time of year is making all those yummy holiday treats. The nippy weather just makes me want to bake! The house smelling like baked goods just says "Christmas". lol I love it!
But every year I dread the thought of gaining weight over the holidays. Especially this year after just having a baby, my mind is totally focused on LOSING weight.
With all those tasty treats, it is nice to have a nice alternative to satisfy those pesky cravings. This is a popular Weight Watchers recipe that has been one of my favorites for years now. Many of you may already know about it, but I wanted to share it in case there's any of you who haven't. It's a delicious, super moist, chocolate cake. That's right, a guilt free, chocolate dessert that actually tastes good!
One piece of cake equals to two weight watchers points, I believe. When you make cupcakes, it cuts the points in half, so 1 point! The calories depend on the cake mix you use, but generally it's around 160 calories. Why is it so low in calories?

Here's the recipe...

1 boxed cake mix

1 can diet soda

Yep. That's it!

For chocolate cake I usually use diet coke, and for a yellow cake you can use a diet sprite or 7up, your choice! The diet coke replaces the oil and eggs, which in return, makes it lower in fat and calories!

Just mix those two ingredients together and bake according to the directions on the box! It's a guilt free way to satisfy your sweet tooth, and guys, it really is delicious. My husband... the very picky chocolate lover, actually likes it. That's pretty huge!

If you want to, you can top it with fat free cool whip to add a little extra sweetness. :o)

Let me know if you try this for yourself, and how you like it!
