I LOVE scrapbooking! I just really struggle finding the time for it, not to mention I make a humongous mess when I do! Stickers here, scraps of paper there,...ahh! Stresses me out just thinking about it! That is one of the many great things about My Memories Suite. You have all your scrapbooking needs in one spot. No mess or clean up. Also, it's fast, and easy to use. Simple enough for beginners, yet powerful enough for a serious scrapbooker.

When I was asked by My Memories to review their software, I was super excited! I've been wanting to try something like this for a while, but never put any serious thought into it, because I thought it wouldn't be worth it. Well, after playing around with it, I know that I will definitely get some great use out of this! It's so great because one of my excuses for not scrapbooking is having the hassle of printing out the pictures. Since all my pictures are digital now, this software is perfect! I have everything I need in one spot.
I didn't think I would have much to play around with because I figured all the good stuff would be the extras I would have to purchase. But it actually includes some really nice layouts! It comes with papers, embellishments, and all kinds of goodies. Of course they do have backgrounds and kits available to purchase, which I will be doing! This is great for different kinds of projects!
I have been wanting to make my three year old an ABC photo book and it's going to be so much easier now that I have this!
Here is an example of a scrapbook page I made with pictures of my kiddos from this last Christmas and one of the layouts that was included with the program...

I love it! Not only does it make a great scrapbook edition, it would make a great Christmas card! And it gave me the idea to make calendars for my family! The possibilities are endless. :) You can also make virtual projects to send to family, and that is such a neat option because you can add music, video and narration! I love that! I will have to do something to send to my grandparents out of town. They will love it!

I was very happy to see My Memories Suite is very user-friendly, because that was my main concern. Now I have a ton of projects lined up and I'm so excited!
I am so excited about this review! lol Seriously though, if you know me, you know my love for coffee. It's seriously one of my most favorite things. So I was so excited to receive the opportunity to review these amazing gourmet syrups from DaVinci Gourmet!

These are the three flavors that DaVinci Gourmet sent me to review...

...I snapped this picture with my phone almost immediately after receiving them, and yes, I had already gotten into the raspberry flavor. I was dying to smell it! haha... And let me tell ya, it smells gooooood! :) I have tried all three flavors, and no lie, they are all delicious. That is my absolute, honest opinion. I didn't think I would like the hazelnut, because when I opened it the smell was really strong, not bad, but strong, so I thought it was going to taste really strong. I added about a tablespoon to my coffee, and it was not at all overwhelming. It was just right and tasted great. The vanilla flavor was my favorite! I personally thought that my coffee ranked right up there with a coffee shop coffee with the vanilla. Super yummy! I was excited about the raspberry flavor, because before I received this in the mail, I didn't realize that DaVinci offered sugar free versions of their syrups! I love this, because I count calories, and it's kind of a bummer to use them on your morning cup of coffee, and with the sugar free syrups, you don't have to! :) And let me say, it does not taste sugar free! It was just as delicious as the other two, honestly! That is the first time I've tried raspberry in my coffee, and I'm definitely I fan!
Some of the other flavors DaVinci offers are white chocolate, chocolate, pumpkin pie, peppermint and cinnamon. Um...YUM!!! They also have all natural syrups. There are no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives, which I know is very important to some people. Some of the all natural syrup flavors include caramel, almond, strawberry, peach and creme de menthe. Again...yum!

Now, I know I'm going on and on about coffee, but you can get much more creative with these syrups! DaVinci has multiple recipes on their site for each syrup! I'm talking recipes for biscotti, truffles, hot chocolate, lattes, steamers, smoothies, milkshakes, even recipes for food entrees, and many, many more. I haven't tried any, but I definitely will!
DaVinci also offers tea concentrates, fruit innovations syrups, and gourmet sauces! I believe all their products are reasonably priced, so please check them out! :)

Ready for some good news?? DaVinci Gourmet is offering three of their gourmet syrups to one of my lucky readers!
Flavors may vary due to product availability.
It's hard to believe it's 2012!! Well, how many of you made a new year's resolution to clean out your closets?? It's one of mine! With so many new things coming into the house after Christmas, some things definitely need to go!

I was asked to review If the Shoe Doesn't Fit website, and I have to say, I'm pretty impressed! It's an auction site (think eBay) except for shoe lovers!
Some differences from ebay are:
·It’s a niche site – so you don’t have to look at a zillion other things when you want to look at shoes! No getting distracted and buying other things when you wanted shoes!

·Instead of charging BOTH a listing fee and a final value fee like eBay, it lets you choose whether you want to pay a low listing fee, or a fixed rate final value fee. This means you can make more money on your sales because you pay a lot less in fees!

·There are no extra or hidden fees for features light headlines, or highlights, or extra photos.

·If something doesn’t sell, you can auto-relist it up to 9 times for free!

·You can swap shoes with other shoe lovers on the site and swaps are always 100% free.

So those are all some pros! My cons would be that the selection isn't huge. That also depends on what size you are looking for. I wear size 9, and there isn't much there for me now. Every now and then I can wear a 9 1/2, and there was this pair that I'm kinda digging. :) I'm really bummed that there aren't ANY shoes in Max's size.

But I think the down sides to the site is just a matter of more people need to know about it, and the selection will grow! We just need to spread the word! I'm going to list a pair of shoes and see how they do! I am loving that you can auto re-list up to 9 more times, free of charge!

Over all, I think it's a great way to buy and sell shoes. More people just need to get involved!
To stay updated on If the She Doesn't Fit promotions, follow them on twitter here, and like their facebook page here!

Now, here's some great news for all of you! If you want to list shoes for sale, If the Shoe Doesn't fit has offered a special code for my readers for 5 free listings!
The code for the 5 free listings is...

B2B, and if you go to their site, there is another code for 2 free listings. So you can receive up to 7 free listings! That's pretty awesome, so I hope all of you take advantage of this!
Please go check it out for yourself and see what you think! Leave me some comments if you have any suggestions that could improve the site! Let me know what you think and enjoy!! :)

Here is some more great news! In exchange for this review, If the Shoe Doesn't Fit sent me this beautiful, 0.925 silver, purse and shoes charm bracelet. As much as I love it and reeeallly want to keep it for myself (hehe), I am going to give it away to one of you fantastic people! Check out the rafflecopter below to enter!
Go here to get yours! http://www.tracerscouponaffair.com/2011/12/hurry-free-letter-from-santa.html

If you follow all the steps, the voucher code you get for the santa site is actually for $20. I thought it was just for 10... so when you personalize your letter and add it to your cart, it will give you the option to add the nice list certificate, a build your own Santa workshop sticker set and a letter from rudolph... Anyway, I got the letter, certificate and stickers with 2 bucks and some change left over on my credit. It covers shipping and everything!
My kids aren't old enough to get overly excited about getting a letter from Santa, but it will be fun to put it in their scrapbooks, or show them when they're older.
I'm sure some of you have kids who would freak out! Definitely take advantage of this!Tracyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01140528466245937240noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4626089464155906720.post-721919166437378662011-12-02T02:19:00.000-05:002011-12-02T02:19:22.289-05:00Coke CakeOkay, so if you're like me, one of your favorite things this time of year is making all those yummy holiday treats. The nippy weather just makes me want to bake! The house smelling like baked goods just says "Christmas". lol I love it!
But every year I dread the thought of gaining weight over the holidays. Especially this year after just having a baby, my mind is totally focused on LOSING weight.
With all those tasty treats, it is nice to have a nice alternative to satisfy those pesky cravings. This is a popular Weight Watchers recipe that has been one of my favorites for years now. Many of you may already know about it, but I wanted to share it in case there's any of you who haven't. It's a delicious, super moist, chocolate cake. That's right, a guilt free, chocolate dessert that actually tastes good!
One piece of cake equals to two weight watchers points, I believe. When you make cupcakes, it cuts the points in half, so 1 point! The calories depend on the cake mix you use, but generally it's around 160 calories. Why is it so low in calories?

Here's the recipe...

1 boxed cake mix

1 can diet soda

Yep. That's it!

For chocolate cake I usually use diet coke, and for a yellow cake you can use a diet sprite or 7up, your choice! The diet coke replaces the oil and eggs, which in return, makes it lower in fat and calories!

Just mix those two ingredients together and bake according to the directions on the box! It's a guilt free way to satisfy your sweet tooth, and guys, it really is delicious. My husband... the very picky chocolate lover, actually likes it. That's pretty huge!

If you want to, you can top it with fat free cool whip to add a little extra sweetness. :o)

Let me know if you try this for yourself, and how you like it!Tracyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01140528466245937240noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4626089464155906720.post-74343165954506447722011-11-29T20:08:00.001-05:002011-12-01T00:57:59.021-05:00Starbucks 12 Days of Sharing

*I'm thankful I am a child of God. He is so faithful. I have seen Him provide for my family in amazing ways over the last few years, and have witnessed His protection over my family. He has blessed us far more than we deserve.

*I'm thankful for my husband. He works harder than anyone I know and is a great provider for our family. He is an amazing father. I love watching him with our boys and I love seeing how much they love him. I'm thankful for all his strengths that balance out my weaknesses. I'm thankful for all the years we have spent together and for the years ahead. I love him so much!

*I'm so thankful for our children. They bring me a joy that I can't describe. I'm so thankful God gave me the great honor of being a mother. Max is so sweet and loving. He's sensitive like his mommy and independent like his daddy. He's so smart and is a great big brother. I'm so thankful the Lord brought Landon into our lives this year. I love the way he looks up at me, and I love seeing that sweet, little smile he recently started showing us. I love my children more than I could ever put into words!

*I'm thankful for my parents. I just don't know where I would be without them. You never stop needing your parents. My mom is my best friend. I can talk to her about everything and I know I'm always going to get great advice. She's usually always right. :o) I just think of all the ways she has been there for me over the years and know I am who I am today because of her and my dad. I have always been a daddy's girl. My daddy is the sweetest guy you will ever meet. He is always so willing to help us out whenever we need him. He can fix anything. :o) I love the little things about him that never change. Always telling us to be careful, making sure we lock our doors and are safe. Both of my parents have sacrificed so much for their children and I'm so thankful my children have such amazing grandparents.

*I'm thankful God has always provided a roof over our heads and a vehicle to get to where we need to go.

*I'm thankful for my friends. There are only a few, but they are true and genuine. It's all about quality not quantity. :o)

*I'm thankful for everyone that makes up my family. Grandparents, brothers, sister, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles... I love them ALL so much and so glad they are a part of my life.

*I'm thankful for all the little things. Sleep, coffee, date nights, girls nights, technology, good food, good music, good movies... All the little pleasures in life. This list could go on and on. It's the little things that help create memories and allow you to enjoy the time you spend with friends and family

I honestly could sit here all night and list things I'm thankful for. I believe the list may be endless. I just wanted to share the most important ones. If anything, for myself. It's good to be able to count my blessings and see how much the Lord has given me.

Happy Thanksgiving!Tracyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01140528466245937240noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4626089464155906720.post-58268961501332145932011-11-19T11:40:00.003-05:002011-12-02T00:41:31.236-05:00Pintervention...It's probably in my future. I can't even tell you how much time I spend on there a day. I've decided that the only thing that's going to stop the creator of Pinterest from becoming more rich and famous than Mark Zuckerberg, is the fact that Pinterest users are primarily female...I'm assuming. Seriously though, whoever they are...geniuses!!! So my bff and I were talking, and we decided we need to stop pinning and actually start making some of these things. So we are going to have a Pinterest day! We're going to be making Christmas presents and most likely some yummy munchies. So exciting! :o) I'm also trying several recipes for dinner next week. I'm eager to see how they turn out! My son wants a superhero hero room and I've found some seriously awesome ideas on how to do one on a budget, and honestly, I think it's going to look cooler than it would if I were to spend a ton of money on it! I also found a really cool craft that I'm going to attempt to make my parents for Christmas. I HOPE I can pull it off! If I do, I will post pictures. I'm not going to say what it is though, just in case my mom reads this. :o)
I will blog with pictures with the things I've tried and let you know how it goes.
I could go on and on about how great it is, but you seriously need to check it out for yourself! If you need an invite, comment on this blog and I will be more than happy to send you one. :o) And don't forget to follow me!Tracyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01140528466245937240noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4626089464155906720.post-40818406928669595042011-11-17T14:05:00.000-05:002011-11-17T14:05:29.936-05:00Landon is 1 month old!Well, Mr. Landon will be 5 weeks old tomorrow. I know 5 weeks sounds so short, but I feel like he's been here forever and can't believe he's already a month old! It is still pretty crazy around here, but we are all definitely adjusting. Max has his good days and bad days. He truly adores his little brother, but for someone who has been the easiest kid ever, he has seriously been acting out lately. I know the baby is a huge life change for him, and I'm sure this is to be expected, but it certainly hasn't been easy. He loves helping me out with Landon, and he is always talking to him and hugging and kissing on him, but he does not get as much attention from mommy right now and I think that's what has been hard on him.
Landon is a good baby and so sweet. I just love that little, chunky face. :o) Since birth though, he wakes up every three hours almost on the dot. He also has his moments where he is so restless and nothing I do can get that boy to sleep. With him getting up every three hours, I really count on those three hours to sleep myself, so when he's done eating and doesn't go back to sleep, that's rough! There have been nights where I've gotten maybe an hour, sometimes no sleep. He has stomach issues as well. His little belly is so sensitive and even the smallest gas bubble hurts him really bad. Very sad for me. It's so hard when they're that little and can't understand why they feel that way, and when there's only so much I can do, it just breaks my heart.
This last week he has been starting to smile, which is an exciting milestone. Seeing that tiny little face looking at me and then a big grin just come across his face... I mean come on! Best.thing.ever. Seriously, being a mommy... I can't even describe the joy it brings me. I'll take the sleepless nights for those two boys any day. SO worth it!
Oh, remember how I said nothing I do gets Landon to sleep when he's restless? I did discover a trick just last night! Michael Buble. God bless him! Landon was in his swing, crying away. I needed to get dinner started. I knew he was just wanting me to hold him, so I was trying to just let him fuss it out, but that boy is persistent, let me tell ya. His swing has a little iPod hookup so I plugged in my iPhone and turned on Michael's Christmas album. Instant silence. He heard Christmas music, I heard the Hallelujah chorus! Michael is currently serenading my sleeping boy now! :o)
Alright, that means I need to wrap this up and take advantage of both boys sleeping and tackle that pile of laundry on the couch that's taunting me. Blah.

Here's my boy at 1 month!
WINNERS ANNOUNCED IN THE WIDGET BELOW!

I was just given the opportunity to review another one of my favorite products! Before I received the products to review, I had no idea that Boogie Wipes made an adult line of products, Saline Soothers! So this will actually be two reviews within one post! There will be a Boogie Wipes prize and a Saline Soothers prize, so make sure you enter because that means 2 winners!

I absolutely love Boogie Wipes! Especially during this season when the runny and stuffy noses are inevitable! My three year old is actually a bit OCD about his nose, so he is always wanting something to wipe his nose. lol I was so happy when I discovered Boogie Wipes because plain, dry tissues would dry up his little nose so bad and it would get so red! He would usually ask for baby wipes anyway, because I think he felt the moisture cleaned his nose better. But his nose still seemed to dry out, and baby wipes aren't really meant for the noses. Boogie Wipes are made with natural saline to dissolve boogies (mucus) caused by the common cold, allergies or otherwise booger-filled kid moments. What's really great about them though is THEY ACTUALLY WORK! They were invented by 2 Moms who were tired of using saline spray, bulb syringes and regular dry tissue to soothe a boogie nose. I can relate to that — it’s all horrific stuff to have to put your child through when they already don’t feel good and have a sore nose. It's seriously a genius product.

What else is genius is Boogie Wipes makes it convenient to take them anywhere! They have their 30 count packs, which I love for around the house, their Boogie Wipes On the Run packs with 10 individually wrapped wipes. I love those because you can toss them in your purse and/or diaper bag, which is convenient and handy. You can also toss them in backpacks and lunch boxes for the kiddos. Then there is their 90 count Boogie canister, which I think is great for the car! Boogie Wipes are available in Great Grape, Fresh Scent, Minty Menthol and Simply Unscented. The scented varieties are great, and definitely kid friendly! They're also gentle and safe for noses of all ages. They are hypoallergenic, alcohol free, and the unique formula moisturizes with added chamomile, vitamin E and aloe. I have already used them on my new little guy, who will be three weeks old tomorrow!

Boogie Wipes is available at major retails stores, such as Target, ToysRUs and Walmart. You can join the Boogie Bunch to download a $.50 off coupon now!

Now for the Saline Soothers! Like I mentioned above, I didn't realize the makers of Boogie Wipes made saline wipes for adults, until I received them in the mail to review. I was ecstatic! Dry tissues can chap your nose and those with aloe can leave a filmy residue on your skin. Not so with Saline Soothers. They are pre-moistened with natural saline, vitamin E, and aloe. Saline Soothers are designed to do just that – soothe! I was guilty of stealing my kids Boogie Wipes in the past, because they were such a better option than dry tissues, which always chap my nose and leaving me looking like Rudolph. Plus they aren't very sturdy. But being an adult, pulling out a bright green or purple pack of wipes that read "Boogie Wipes" on them, to use for myself tended to be a tad embarrassing at times. lol! Saline Soothers are so wonderful! Like Boogie Wipes, the saline cleans and helps dissolve mucus, while moisturizing aloe and vitamin E keep your nose looking and feeling up to snuff. As always, their products are hypoallergenic and alcohol free. Also, like Boogie Wipes, Saline Soothers come in three refreshing scents: Cool Menthol, Fragrance Free, and Light Lavender. And they are packaged for grown ups! Yay! They come in a convenient pack that reseals to keep your wipes moist and fresh for the next time you need them.

Now for the fun part! You can enter now to receive (2) packs of 30-count wipes (fresh, grape, menthol, or unscented– combination varies), and 2 packs of your very own Saline Soothers!

The first winner that is randomly selected will receive the Boogie Wipes prize.

The second winner that is randomly seleceted will receive the Saline Soothers.
Haha!
This may take all day to write, but I'm determined to get a post in!

What a CRAZY 2 weeks this has been! Landon Carter Pelkey was born October 14, 2011 at 7:57am, weighing in like a champ at a whopping 10 lbs 2 oz!!! We were all pretty shocked. Max was a big baby (9lbs 6 oz), but he was a week late. I knew Landon would be a big baby but he was a week early, so I didn't think he would be as big as Max. Much to our surprise, he was bigger! I was a little out of it when they first told me, and I remember coming out of my fog and thinking "there's no way I heard that right..." and asked the nurse, "How big did you say he was?" I definitely heard it right the first time. Crazy!

Everything went well with the delivery. It was right after that when things got crazy. I had a ton of blood clots in my uterus which caused me to be in recovery for over 4 hours! It was a very exhausting, painful experience. I'll spare you the details. From the few people I know who have had multiple c-sections, the recovery was a lot easier the second time around, so I was really counting on it being the same for me. Nope! It was seriously the most painful experience I've ever had. Even during the actual c-section, the spinal started wearing off before they even got Landon out, so I was seriously hurting. With Max I could feel everything but no pain. Just pressure. Not this time. It was killer, and the anesthesiologist wasn't able to give me anything for the pain until they got the baby out.

When I came home, I was running a fever pretty much that whole week. It's already kind of a blur. Thank goodness Jeff was home to help. I wouldn't have survived. There's so much more that happened just in our first week home, but again, I'll spare you the details. Thank the Lord I am finally starting to feel like my old self! Which is good since my new son isn't a fan of sleep at night time. It's such a different experience than the one I had with Max. Max was seriously the most content baby. He slept all the time and slept anywhere you laid him. He was sleeping through the night by 3 1/2 weeks. Landon on the other hand, gets so restless at night. He sleeps great when either one of us are holding him, but as soon as you lay him down...boom. He's awake. He is a sweet, sweet baby but he wants to be held all the time, and it definitely wears me out. His eating schedule gets a little wacky too. For the most part, he eats every 3 hours, but so many times he will eat, then an hour later want to eat again, and then again two hours after that. So it makes things a little difficult sometimes.

I am not complaining though! I am so very thankful for our little man and am so in love with him! We are all adjusting to our new, busier, sleep deprived lives. :o) It's crazy, but it's wonderful! Max absolutely adores his new, little brother. He's already so protective over him, constantly watching over him. He loves holding his hand and rubbing his head. He's such a big help to me too! He's my fetcher of diapers, blankets, etc... and he's always so happy to help. He has his moments of frustration too. When Landon is having a crying fit, Max is not a fan of him at all! lol

Right now, I'm just trying to figure out how to juggle a toddler, an infant and an insane amount of house work. It's difficult, but I'm managing and I know I'll get the hang of it in time. :o)

Going from one kid to two is definitely a big change. I miss all the time I had with Max. It has just been us for over three years and now I can't spend that same kind of time with him. Thankfully he seems to be handling it okay, and one day him and Landon will be able to play together, which will be so wonderful. They are so blessed to have each other. And we are soooo blessed to have Max and Landon!!!

By the way, I started this post on Friday afternoon. It is now Sunday evening. Just to give you an idea of how busy I am these days. lol

I will try my very best to post a picture blog as soon as I can of our new little guy. But for now, he sleeps, so I must make the most of this time and get my kitchen cleaned! ;o)Tracyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01140528466245937240noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4626089464155906720.post-68557002344718975662011-10-13T00:54:00.005-04:002011-12-02T00:40:26.640-05:00Boudreaux's Butt Paste® Product Review & Giveaway!!
**CONTEST CLOSED**
CONGRATULATIONS AAMIRAH! YOU WON!

I recently had the opportunity to review some amazing products from Boudreaux's Butt Paste®! I just don't know if I'm going to be able to say enough good things about these great products, but I'm sure gonna try! :o) I will say, I never thought I'd be this excited EVER about diaper rash cream! Ah, the joys of motherhood. ;o)

These are all the products I received to try out!

I first discovered Boudreaux's Butt Paste® when my son was about a year old. I WISH I had discovered it sooner, because it has seriously been the only thing that has worked on him. It's wonderful because there is a product for every stage of a rash.

They have the Boudreaux's Butt Paste® Maximum Strength with 40% Zinc Oxide for the full blown rashes. And us mommies know how fast that can happen when our precious little one's get those dreaded runny diapers. :o(

There's the All Natural Boudreaux's Butt Paste® for those extra sensitive little hineys. It's soothing ointment is formulated with beeswax, Peruvian balsam and other natural ingredients to help heal irritated bottoms. My son actually has a mild case of eczema, so I've used the All Natural Butt Paste on some of his problem areas and it's really helped. Butt paste isn't just for butts, people! :o)

Of course there is also the Original Boudreaux's Butt Paste®. This is definitely the most used in our house. Even now that my son is potty trained, his bum can still get dry and irritated, so I have no problem rubbing some butt paste on it because I know it is going to help clear it up quickly.

Some great features about all three of these products are they all go on and clean off easily, you only need a small amount (a little goes a long way!), they are available in convenient sizes, the tubes have convenient flip top caps, they come in handy travel sizes and they have a pleasant scent.

The Boudreaux's Rash Protector™ helps prevent and protect against diaper rash in a convenient, easy-to-use spray. It's formulated to protect and help relieve chapped or cracked skin and it comes out in a clear, gentle stream. It's easy to apply and helps seal out wetness. My second baby boy will be here in just two short days, so I'm very excited to have this product handy! :o)

Now there are two products I had not tried until I received them in the mail this week. Their Boudreaux's Baby Kisses™, which is an infant and kids lip and cheek moisturizer. This product was sent from Heaven for my son. He always has dry lips and has a bad habit of picking at the dead skin, which leads to bleeding lips. :o( I have tried to use chapstick on him, but he hates how sticky it is and does not enjoy the strong scents. As soon as I received the baby kisses, I put it on him, and no kidding, he asks me for it now! It doesn't have a strong scent, it's not sticky or messy and it really gives him some relief! This makes me so happy!!

The other product is the Boudreaux’s Baby Butt Bath™ Moisturizing Body Wash & Shampoo. The first thing I loved about this product is it smells soooo good! Who doesn't love a good smelling baby?! I also noticed that my son's skin truly was smoother and softer after using the butt bath. He does have sensitive skin, so most other soaps do tend to dry out his skin. So this was definitely a win for me! No surprise there. :o)

I can't believe I will be a mother of two in FOUR days! As I type this, my back is killing me, as it has been for weeks now. It's been worse the last few days. Worst part is, there is no relief! I can't take anything, changing positions doesn't do squat, I try to pop it but my big belly makes it hard to do that anymore... :/ Yeah... I'm miserable.
That's why I'm blogging right now. I can't sleep! Now, of course I realize the sleep part isn't going to change anytime soon, but I am SO looking forward to taking some amazing pain meds and getting my body back to normal! I'm also looking forward to eating spicy foods without getting heartburn, going back to my ridiculous, daily caffeine intake (it's not that ridiculous, but I've been cautious with it during the pregnancy), I'm looking forward to being able to bend over to clean and pick things up off the floor without struggling, being able to wear my wedding ring again... so many things. :o) And to think, I'm all for doing this again in a few years. ;o)
The biggest things I'm looking forward to though, of course, is meeting my sweet baby boy, and finally being able to hold him in my arms. I can't wait for Max to meet his little brother for the first time! I know for sure that I am going to lose it when I see them together for the first time.
I'm also going to lose it when I drop Max off with my parents the night before I deliver. It will be the last time it's just him. It's just been us for over three years. :,o( But I am so thankful and I know we will adjust to this new phase of our lives. God is good! :o)Tracyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01140528466245937240noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4626089464155906720.post-13255592254136257952011-09-29T14:06:00.000-04:002011-09-29T14:06:36.554-04:00Date night??Ok, I really need to figure out a way to squeeze in a date night with my husband in the next two weeks! It's been a while since we've had one, and for obvious reasons, may be a while before we will get another chance! Hmm... gotta think about this one. :o) I'll let you know what I come up with. lolTracyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01140528466245937240noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4626089464155906720.post-68869983218528168592011-09-27T17:12:00.000-04:002011-09-27T17:12:49.760-04:00Time flies when you procrastinate!I CANNOT believe my sweet baby boy will be here the week after next!!! Things have been so different with this one. With Max, the moment I got home from my shower, I was washing baby clothes, unboxing things and putting everything in it's place. We are 2 weeks away from baby and everything is just piled up in his room untouched. I finally have a load of his clothes in the wash now, and plan of having his diaper bag ready by the end of tonight. :o) My hospital bag is the goal for tomorrow. I'm so awful! But I'm confident I'll have everything in order in time. :o)
Just two more weeks with my family of three. It feels a little bittersweet! We are all so thrilled though, and can't wait to see our baby boy's sweet wittle face. :o)Tracyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01140528466245937240noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4626089464155906720.post-40498092062981411372011-08-30T23:55:00.000-04:002011-08-30T23:55:02.920-04:00Wake Me Up When September Ends!Well, I had my next to last 2 week check up today. The lovely exams start next appointment. Oh joy! :/ And that will be my last 2 week check up! 4 weekly check ups after that, and then baby day! 6 more weeks, people! It's so unbelievable! This pregnancy is already feeling like such a blur! I'm excited, but I have so much anxiety for some reason. I really hope it's just the crazy prego hormones! I still have things to get done, but I'm fairly confident they will get done, so I really don't know what there is to worry about. I have been praying for peace a lot these days. :o) If you're reading this, please pray for a safe delivery and healthy baby. He will be here VERY soon!
On a lighter note and completely different subject, I ordered a Bissell steam mop the other day. You can tell I'm a wife and mommy due to the excitement I have over a steam mop. lol What is more exciting is amazon had it for an excellent price! $30 cheaper than in stores! So by the time I spent my gift cards that I won through Swagbucks, and I mail in the rebate it comes with, I will have only paid $12 and some cents for it! My mom has the same one, and she spent 100 bucks for it!
And because she has one, and I've borrowed it several times, I know I'm getting a great product that works fabulously! :o) Super excited! :o) No more mop and bucket for me. Woot!

Ok folks, remember to keep me and baby boy in your prayers over next few weeks! We both would greatly appreciate it. :o)Tracyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01140528466245937240noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4626089464155906720.post-90162139576684186172011-08-20T16:29:00.000-04:002011-08-20T16:29:56.491-04:00Life will always get crazierI was an excellent blogger before I had Max. I was a regular on Xanga, then totally slacked off when I got pregnant. Since then, life has just been to busy and crazy to blog. I miss it, and have tried to pick it back up several times, but have failed.
Call me crazy, but I'm going to give it another go! Right before I deliver another baby! Yyyep... I'm nuts. lol
But speaking of baby, it's just a matter of weeks now before he is here! My c-section is scheduled for October 14th, bright and early. I felt like I had a bond with Max before he was even born. He is all I had to think about and focus on! I feel bad, because with Max and the house and all the other things that keep me busy, I haven't had much time to think about life with two children! I know when he gets here, the bond will come shortly after. It's definitely different though. I just want him to be here.
In other news, I have been doing yard work for the past two weekends. 7 months pregnant and in this heat. I want it to look good because I know we're going to have plenty of visitors when baby arrives. We have no grass though. It's pathetic. There wasn't much when we moved in over a year ago, so we didn't have much to work with, but we have sure tried! We will most likely have to re-seed or re-sod in the near future. Meanwhile, the inside of the house is a disaster. Everyone will just have to meet the baby outside! haha. No, no. But I have quite a bit to do in just 8 weeks. It's so overwhelming and my energy level is below zero, but I'm trying to keep moving! Go Tracy!! lol!
Wow, what a rant this is. I will have to spruce up my blog page later. I know it's empty, but no time to pretty it up now. Back to the real world. Thanks for reading! :o)Tracyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01140528466245937240noreply@blogger.com0
